At Curley & Pynn, internships are designed as real professional experiences, not observational programs. Interns contribute to live client work, receive structured feedback and gain exposure to senior leadership.
Below, you can explore internships, learn from former interns and discover how Curley & Pynn develops future communicators.
A C&P internship is built like a professional role, not a shadowing experience. You’ll contribute to live client work, support strategic projects and learn what “good” looks like when the stakes are real. That means you get paid to be an intern at C&P. That also means clear expectations, thoughtful feedback and accountability to deadlines and quality. You’ll leave with stronger writing, sharper judgment and a better understanding of how high-reputation firms protect trust while delivering results.
PR isn’t just output, it’s decision-making. At C&P, you’ll learn to start with the “why,” understand audiences and choose the right channels, messages and moments. You’ll practice thinking beyond tactics to the bigger picture: goals, stakeholders, risks and opportunities. Those instincts translate across industries and roles, giving you a foundation that helps you grow faster and contribute with confidence.
You’ll learn alongside a team that values people and takes mentorship seriously. Interns get exposure to senior leaders, real-time coaching and a culture that expects professionalism while supporting growth. You’ll build relationships that extend beyond your internship, with guidance you can carry into interviews, new roles and early career pivots. It’s the kind of experience that expands your network and strengthens your reputation before your first full-time job.
There are two internship tracks at Curley & Pynn: Public Relations Intern and Content & Social Media Intern. Each internship aligns with a standard school semester, so you can expect a 3–4 month experience designed to fit alongside classes, part-time work and other commitments.
We’re flexible. Interns work with their supervisor to build a schedule that supports both academic priorities and meaningful contribution. While expectations are clear and the work is real, we understand you’re balancing a lot and we aim to create an environment where you can learn, grow and do your best work without burning out.
