Curley & Pynn Welcomes Jackie Kelvington as Senior Adviser

ORLANDO, Fla. (Jan. 3, 2023) – Curley & Pynn Public Relations Management added a familiar face to its leadership team Monday with the hiring of former employee and longtime Orlando public relations professional, Jackie Kelvington. As senior adviser, Kelvington will work in both consulting and account management capacities with Curley & Pynn, supporting work for clients in the performing arts and utility sectors.

Kelvington offers over 35 years of experience in public relations, including eight years at Curley & Pynn.

During her previous tenure with the firm, she developed and executed high-impact campaigns for companies in the tech, travel and hospitality industries. She also led a new-to-market launch for Don Pablo’s Restaurants, served on Tupperware’s re-branding team and coordinated communications for AT&T’s Central Florida operations.

In 2001, Kelvington founded Kelvington Consulting Group through which she has helped small, mid-size, startup and Fortune 500 companies, and not-for-profit organizations “define what they need and get what they want.” Her clients have benefited from local and national media coverage, executive thought leadership and positioning, new business development programs, event management and more.

Kelvington has also served as vice president of corporate communications for the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, where she was responsible for all corporate, community and government affairs, as well as the internal and external communications strategy. She also worked as the director of public relations for the Orlando Economic Partnership, where she led the regional effort to position Orlando as a top business location among national media and influencers.

Kelvington graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Business Communications. A member of the Heart of Florida United Way Marketing Committee and Edgewater High School Foundation, she has won statewide awards for her public relations work, and has been a presenter at local and state industry conferences.
