Florida Public Relations Association – Orlando Area Chapter Names Kerry Martin President

MAITLAND, Fla. (October 24, 2014) – Kerry Martin, APR, Curley & Pynn Public Relations communications strategist, has been installed as the Florida Public Relations Association – Orlando Area Chapter (FPRA) president for 2014-2015.
FPRA is a statewide organization for public relations practitioners and is the oldest organization of its kind in the United States, with 15 professional and 11 student chapters. Martin has been a member of the local professional chapter for seven years and previously served as Image Awards co-chair, assistant treasurer and president-elect. As president, she provides strategic vision and manages activities of the 22-member executive board.
“Kerry has demonstrated leadership throughout her years at Curley & Pynn and in the community,” said Roger Pynn, Curley & Pynn president. “We are proud of her achievements and of her commitment to the growth of public relations professionals and to the advancement of the field.”
Martin earned Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from FPRA. She is a graduate of the Leadership Orlando Class of 84 and is a regular guest speaker for business communication courses at her alma mater, the University of Central Florida.
