Florida Public Relations Association Names Roger Pynn 2013 Counselors’ Network Chair; Pynn Also Wins Award for Excellence

MAITLAND, Fla. (September 16, 2013) – , Curley & Pynn Public Relations president, was named Counselors’ Network Chair and presented with the Past President’s Award during the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) State Conference.

The Counselors’ Network offers professional enrichment and continuing education opportunities for senior-level public relations practitioners, who have earned the Certified Public Relations Counselor (CPRC) designation through a combination of tests.  Pynn has served on the Network’s executive committee the last two years, prior to his election as chairman.

During FPRA’s 75th annual conference, Pynn was also honored with the Past President’s Award for his dedication to FPRA, as well as professional success as a senior counselor with more than 35 years of public relations experience.

Aside from FPRA involvement, Pynn is on the board of directors for the Florida Research Consortium and serves on the University of Central Florida (UCF) Board of Visitors for the Nicholson School of Communications and as chair of the Dean’s Advisory Board for the UCF College of Sciences.
