Heather Keroes, APR, and Kacie Escobar, APR, Become the Fifth and Sixth Vice Presidents in Strategic Public Relations Firm’s 35-Year History
MAITLAND, Fla. (July 25, 2019) – Trusted advisers Heather Keroes, APR, and Kacie Escobar, APR, were promoted to vice president at Curley & Pynn – The Strategic Firm® – in recognition of the essential service they provide to some of Florida’s leading brands.
“Heather, Kacie and I talk often about our shared vision of providing essential service, and they have proven time and again through wise counsel and innovative leadership how essential they are to me and to the future of Curley & Pynn,” said President Dan Ward, APR, CPRC, who purchased the firm in January 2018. “Their commitment to communication that is purposeful, authentic and ethical is inspiring to me, to the people we employ and to the organizations we serve.”
Keroes has led account teams and managed strategic public relations programs at Curley & Pynn for nearly a decade, and today leads the firm’s work on behalf of clients including Universal Orlando Resort, FAIRWINDS Credit Union, accesso, the University of Central Florida and others. A graduate of UCF’s Nicholson School of Communications & Media and Burnett Honors College, Keroes currently serves as president of the Orlando chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
Escobar began as an intern at Curley & Pynn in 2013 and returned to the firm in 2015, quickly becoming a leader for clients such as the Florida High Tech Corridor Council and Electronic Arts, as well as developing innovating strategies to drive the firm’s marketing and business development efforts. Escobar is a graduate of UCF’s Nicholson School of Communications & Media and Burnett Honors College, and will be installed as president-elect of the Orlando-Area Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association Aug. 21.
