Curley & Pynn Communications Strategist Kacie Escobar Earns Prestigious Accreditation in Public Relations

MAITLAND, Fla. (Sept. 26, 2018) – On the heels of her third anniversary with Curley & Pynn Public Relations Management, Communications Strategist Kacie Escobar has attained the distinction of being Accredited in Public Relations (APR).

APR is a voluntary certification program administered to public relations professionals with five or more years of experience who exhibit professional expertise and dedication to high ethical standards.  To earn the credential, candidates must demonstrate mastery of core public relations concepts, and depth of knowledge about strategic communication, business literacy, communication models, ethics and law.

Committed to lifelong learning and professional development, Escobar is treasurer for the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Orlando Area Chapter and has previously served on its board of directors in various capacities since 2014.  She is a recent graduate of LeadershipFPRA, a program designed to equip and empower public relations professionals for leadership roles within their workplaces and communities, and was nominated for FPRA’s 2018 Joe Curley Rising Leader Class, which recognizes up-and-coming members who demonstrate emerging leadership traits along with dedicated participation within the organization.  In addition to her FPRA involvement, Escobar also serves as an adviser for Kappa Alpha Theta’s chapter at Stetson University.
