Orlando-Area Firm Spotlighted by Inaugural PRNEWS Agency Elite Top 100

MAITLAND, Fla. (Oct. 5, 2020) – Curley & Pynn Public Relations Management Inc. – The Strategic Firm® – was named among PRNEWS’ inaugural Agency Elite Top 100, a list of the nation’s most innovative and strategic firms of the year.

Approaching its 37th year in business, the landmark Orlando-area agency was recognized for its demonstrated expertise, including specialties in association management, corporate and business-to-business communications and media relations. Curley & Pynn was also commended for its ability to pivot and support clients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We’re thrilled to receive this incredible honor, especially during a particularly transformative year globally and for the company,” said Dan Ward, APR, CPRC, firm president and 25-year veteran of the agency. “I’m proud of our team’s continued ability to think critically, anticipate client needs and deliver results at a demanding pace. We are grateful for the established client relationships we’ve built and the prospect of applying our strategic approach to other growing organizations.”

Among milestones from the past year that contributed to this recognition, highlights include:

  • International expansion to provide strategic advice and counsel to global industry associations. Curley & Pynn’s management of consumer media outreach for IAAPA Expo 2019, the leading global show for leisure and attraction industry professionals, generated more than a billion consumer media impressions, far exceeding client objectives.
  • The introduction of a new in-depth media monitoring and analysis service that goes well beyond clips, impressions and tone. Responsible for reviewing and analyzing thousands of stories each week from around the globe, the team provided daily, weekly and monthly reports identifying trends, challenges and opportunities for corporate clients.
  • Engagement in several crisis retainer relationships through which the firm monitored industry landscapes for clients, prepared for potential crisis scenarios and responded as necessary.
  • The appointment of two vice presidents – Heather Keroes, APR, and Kacie Escobar, APR – each of whom has served the firm’s clients for more than five years and who manage client service/internal capacity and sales/marketing, respectively.

According to PRNEWS, the 2020 Agency Elite Top 100 features agencies of all sizes – boutique firms, midsized shops and global organizations – “proving that creative concepts and execution can be accomplished by teams of any size.” For more information about the PRNEWS Agency Elite Top 100, visit https://www.prnewsonline.com/go/agency-elite-top-100/.
