Florida Public Relations Association Presents Curley & Pynn with Highest Awards for Excellence in Public Relations


MAITLAND, Fla. (April 24, 2014) – The Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Orlando Area Chapter honored Curley & Pynn Public Relations (C&P) with its highest awards for public relations programs and tactics at its 2014 Image Awards banquet.

C&P received the Grand All Image Award for its work launching Drive Electric Orlando, a program designed to place car renters behind the wheel of plug-in electric vehicles.  C&P managed a dramatic community launch event that featured the mayors of Orlando and Orange County, attracting hundreds of executives in tourism, transportation, hospitality and key Orlando businesses.  The initiative received more than 100 media placements within a week of the event, including USA Today, Travel Weekly and Associated Press.

FPRA also recognized C&P with an Image and Grand Image Award for the development of the Florida High Tech Corridor Council’s annual magazine, florida.HIGH.TECH 2013.  The Grand Image Award signifies the best in printed tools of public relations.

Lastly, FPRA presented C&P with an Image Award for its rebranding of Eastern Florida State College (formerly known as Brevard Community College).

The Image Awards banquet is held annually by the FPRA Orlando Area Chapter to recognize outstanding professionals for the best in innovation, planning, design and practice of public relations.
