MAITLAND, Fla. (June 26, 2017)Curley & Pynn Public Relations and Marketing Communications received high honors at the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Sunshine District Radiance Awards on June 22, cementing its place among the top public relations practitioners and organizations in Florida by taking home four individual awards.

PRSA Sunshine District Radiance Awards recognize outstanding public relations programs by practitioners or organizations from seven PRSA chapters throughout the state representing more than 1,000 members.  Serving clients for more than 30 years, Curley & Pynn received four awards for exceptional public relations campaigns and tactics, including two Radiance Awards – the highest possible achievement – and two Awards of Commendation.

The Orlando-area firm was honored with Radiance Awards for work with accesso®, global provider of innovative queuing and ticketing technology solutions, and the Florida High Tech Corridor, an economic development initiative promoting high tech industry and innovation in a 23-county region:

  • accesso PrismSM Launch – To launch accesso Prism, a wearable device that redefines the theme park experience for guests by allowing them to spend less time waiting in line, Curley & Pynn planned, managed and executed a press conference at the 2016 International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo.  Securing 50 media placements and 14 media outlets in attendance for the conference, Curley & Pynn surpassed its objectives.
  • Florida High Tech Corridor Integrated Communications – Curley & Pynn has worked alongside The Corridor since its inception in 1996.  An integrated communications approach was implemented from the onset to raise awareness of the growing high tech region among business, research and government leaders.  In 2016, Curley & Pynn leveraged media relations, a printed magazine, a targeted monthly eNewsletter, an annual event and other tactics to earn more than 50 published stories, more than 29,000 unique monthly visitors to the highly targeted website, and visitors from nearly 50 of the nation’s universities to meet with local high tech businesses recruiting top tech graduates.

Curley & Pynn was also recognized with Awards of Commendation for two tactics:  the accesso Prism launch news release and The Corridor’s annual magazine, florida.HIGH.TECH 2016.
