Curley & Pynn Earns National and State PR Honors for Work Supporting Client Campaigns

ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. 5, 2025) – Curley & Pynn Public Relations Management is celebrating a season of recognition from the public relations profession’s most prestigious awards programs. From May through August, Curley & Pynn earned awards from Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for campaigns developed in partnership with clients across Florida.
The list of industry honors Curley & Pynn brought home this summer include:
- An Award of Excellence at the Public Relations Society of America Silver Anvil Awards for community relations campaigns supporting EA SPORTS.
- An Award of Excellence at the Public Relations Society of America Silver Anvil Awards for community relations campaigns supporting Sunshine 811.
- A Radiance Award from the PRSA Sunshine District for the Sarasota Orchestra “Inside the Sound” animated explainer video, developed in partnership with Oxenfree Film & Motion.
- An Award of Distinction at the Florida Public Relations Association Golden Image Awards for the Sarasota Orchestra “Inside the Sound” animated explainer video, developed in partnership with Oxenfree Film & Motion.
Sarasota Orchestra “Inside the Sound” Animated Explainer Video
In partnership with Sarasota Orchestra and Oxenfree Film & Motion, Curley & Pynn produced an animated explainer video titled “Inside the Sound.” The video invites viewers inside the unique acoustics of a concert hall, illustrating why the space itself is an instrument while helping build momentum and community support for the future Sarasota Music Center, which will become Florida’s first concert hall built specifically for acoustic music on the Gulf Coast. The project was one of only a handful of campaigns recognized by both PRSA and FPRA statewide.
Sunshine 811 “Safe Digging Month”
Partnering with Sunshine 811, a not-for-profit corporation focused on promoting safe digging practices in Florida, Curley & Pynn successfully engaged stakeholders in awareness-building efforts for “Safe Digging Month” in April 2024 through timely media relations, creative social media content, strategically boosted videos and more. The campaign led to a staggering 6,691% year-over-year increase in social media-driven website visits, resulting in over 1.4 million people reached on Facebook and contributing to a 10% increase in ticket locate requests in April 2024. Visits to Sunshine 811’s excavator webpage were also up 7,480% year-over-year while visits to the organization’s downloadable toolkit were up 40%.

EA SPORTS “Get in the Game” STEAM Camp
Curley & Pynn received honors for meeting a set standard of excellence in its execution of EA SPORTS’ 2024 “Get in the Game” STEAM Camp. The team supported coordination and communications for the camp, advancing efforts by the EA SPORTS development team in Orlando to recruit more diverse students into gaming careers. Curley & Pynn strategically managed communication and coordination efforts for the event, handling guest list management, sending invitations, coordinating media relations and even creating talking points for leaders of the EA Orlando team. Additionally, the team provided on-site support, distributed surveys and managed on-site media personnel, ensuring the camp’s success and continued engagement with participants.
