Orlando-Area Firm Spotlighted for Second Consecutive Year by PRNEWS Agency Elite Top 100

MAITLAND, Fla. (Sept. 14, 2021) – Curley & Pynn Public Relations Management – The Strategic Firm® – was named among PRNEWS’ Agency Elite Top 100, a list of the nation’s most innovative and strategic firms, for the second consecutive year.

Approaching its 38th year in business, the landmark Orlando-area agency was recognized for its demonstrated expertise, including specialties in economic development and technology, corporate and business-to-business communications, and media relations. Curley & Pynn was also commended for its ability to pivot and support clients throughout the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“We’re honored to once again be recognized as part of the PR NEWS Agency Elite Top 100,” said Dan Ward, APR, CPRC, firm president. “I’m proud of our team’s continued resiliency and unwavering resolve to deliver results for our clients. The role of public relations is evolving and it has never been more crucial to a business’ success. We are grateful to our roster of partners who trust us to serve as essential extensions of their teams.”

Several milestones from the past year contributed to this recognition, with highlights including:

  • Curley & Pynn doubled down on efforts to ensure continued success in a dynamic, post-pandemic economy. Along with plans for increased emphasis on proactive business development, the firm worked with a local agency partner to launch a new website that will serve as a hub for thought leadership and lead generation.
  • Following the horrifying murder of George Floyd last summer, Curley & Pynn joined countless organizations that were moved to act for a more equitable world. Strengthening its commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, Curley & Pynn identified an opportunity to diversify the communications field by creating accessible career pathways for students from underrepresented minority groups. Partnering with the University of Central Florida, local state colleges and relevant professional associations, the firm is now developing a program complete with skills training, mentorship and networking to improve students’ chances of securing admittance in limited-access programs and paid internships.
  • Since 1984, Curley & Pynn has provided total program management for Florida’s best-known brands. In the past year, the firm was fortunate to add new names to this list: The Garage, an Orlando-based IT startup known for its health care software solutions; and, PulteGroup, the nation’s third-largest homebuilder that sought the firm’s support to bolster its reputation in the Orlando-area market.
  • Curley & Pynn added new names to its staff roster, hiring a communications strategist and two communications specialists to support a growing client portfolio of 15 brands.
