Florida Public Relations Association Recognizes Curley & Pynn for Excellence in Public Relations

MAITLAND, Fla. (September 4, 2014) – The Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) honored Curley & Pynn Public Relations (C&P) with two awards at its 2014 Golden Image Awards gala, recognizing the best public relations programs and tactics in the state.

C&P was presented a Golden Image Award for strategic work to launch Drive Electric Orlando and an Award of Distinction for developing the Florida High Tech Corridor Council’s annual magazine.  

Curley & Pynn Partner Earns Senior-Level PR Certification

MAITLAND, Fla. (August 5, 2014) – Curley & Pynn Partner and Vice President Dan Ward has earned the highest certification of his profession—the designation of Certified Public Relations Counselor (CPRC).  Bestowed by the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA), the CPRC credential recognizes professional growth and achievement of senior-level public relations practitioners.

Julie Hall Promoted to Communications Strategist at Curley & Pynn

MAITLAND, Fla. (November 12, 2013) –Curley & Pynn Public Relations promoted Julie (Primrose) Hall to communications strategist, recognizing her growing role in providing strategic advice and counsel to the firm’s clients. 
 
Hall joined the firm as a communications coordinator in August 2010, following graduation from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising and public relations.  Her new duties as a communications strategist include management of account teams and client work.
 

Florida Public Relations Association Names Roger Pynn 2013 Counselors’ Network Chair; Pynn Also Wins Award for Excellence

MAITLAND, Fla. (September 16, 2013) – Roger Pynn, APR, CPRC, Curley & Pynn Public Relations president, was named Counselors’ Network Chair and presented with the Past President’s Award during the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) State Conference.

The awards were presented to C&P for its strategic work for the Florida High Tech Corridor Council (FHTCC) and Visit South Walton, a destination along Florida’s Northwest Coast. 
 

Public Relations Society of America Presents National Award to Curley & Pynn

MAITLAND, Fla. (August 26, 2013) – For work rooted in research and creative strategy, Curley & Pynn Public Relations (C&P) has been honored with a Bronze Anvil Award of Commendation from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) recognizing work performed for Brevard Community College, now Eastern Florida State College.  
 
The prestigious and nationally recognized Bronze Anvil Awards represent the best in public relations tactics reflecting the growing scope, creativity and importance of strategic public relations. 
 

Florida Public Relations Association Names Dan Ward the 2013 Central Florida PR Professional of the Year; Curley & Pynn Recognized with Multiple Awards

MAITLAND, Fla. (April 17, 2013) – Dan Ward, APR,  vice president and partner of Curley & Pynn Public Relations Management, has been named the 2013 Central Florida Public Relations Professional of the Year by the Florida Public Relations Association’s (FPRA’s) Orlando Area Chapter.
 

Florida Research Consortium Names Roger Pynn to Board of Directors

MAITLAND, Fla. (January 3, 2013) – Roger Pynn, APR, CPRC, president of Curley & Pynn, has been named to the Florida Research Consortium (FRC) board of directors and will serve as chairman of its Communications Committee.
 
FRC is a statewide organization dedicated to strengthening Florida’s innovation economy by promoting research commercialization and the development of a skilled workforce.  With more than 35 years of public relations experience, in his new role Pynn will work to raise the visibility of FRC and its initiatives.
