MAITLAND, Fla. (June 22, 2016) – Curley & Pynn Public Relations (C&P) was honored with three awards from the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA), the nation’s oldest association of its kind, at its 2016 image awards gala, recognizing the best public relations programs and tactics in Central Florida.

The awards were presented to C&P for its strategic work for the Florida High Tech Corridor Council, National Airlines and C&P’s digital magazine, “For The Win.”

C&P received an image award for development of The Corridor’s annual magazine, florida.HIGH.TECH 2015.  The Corridor is an economic development initiative of the University of Central Florida, the University of South Florida and the University of Florida that promotes high tech growth and innovation across a 23-county region.  C&P created and executed all elements of the magazine—including research, design, writing and publishing—to highlight the region’s high tech clusters through features on university research, entrepreneurial activity and “Faces of Technology,” which recognize local researchers and innovators.

The team also received judge’s awards for its work with National Airlines, as well as the development of C&P’s 30th anniversary magazine, “For The Win.”  To promote the launch of National Airlines’ scheduled passenger service from Orlando to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Windsor, Ontario, C&P planned and executed a targeted publicity strategy that achieved measurable recognition for the airline brand through print, broadcast and online stories.  C&P’s promotional magazine, “For The Win,” celebrated the 30th anniversary of the company by sharing decades of success and insights from the team that made it possible.

“Our firm develops strategic solutions for our clients that solve problems, tell stories and achieve goals,” said , Curley & Pynn president.  “We work with our clients closely to plan and implement successful programs such as these, and I am proud to see the collective efforts of our team recognized by professionals across the state.”

The FPRA – Orlando Area Chapter Image Awards gala is held annually to recognize Florida’s outstanding professionals for the best in innovation, planning, design and practice of public relations.
